Membership Categories
Individual $40 Annually
Individual memberships are perfect for students and individuals. Single members get discounts on meetings and one vote at regular meetings.
Family $50 Annually
Family memberships include two adults and all the children in the household under 18. This membership includes one vote at regular meetings.
Lighthouse Delegate $50 Annually
Official local lighthouse preservation groups are members of FLA and each has a seat on the Board of Directors. These groups work together to preserve all Florida lighthouses through their involvement in FLA.
Corporate Member $100 Annually
Corporate memberships are a great way to promote your business while supporting Florida's historic lighthouses. All FLA Corporate Member company logos are prominently displayed in the footer of all FLA website pages to maximize the public exposure of each company's support of the FLA and its mission to safeguard Florida's historic lighthouses. You will have the ability to register two people as individual members and one vote at regular meetings.
Gift A Membership
You can give the gift of an FLA membership by completing the online application. Please read these directions carefully before you start. Read about our membership levels [link] and when you are ready, complete the online application [link]. If you are logged in as an FLA member, please log out before you complete the online application.
Before you begin:
- Make sure you have the contact information for the person who will receive your gift.
- You must have their name, physical address, email address, and phone number.
- Their membership card will be mailed to their physical address, while their email will serve multiple purposes
On the online application: Apply Online
- Check the box on the application that says “This is a Gift”.
- Their email address will be the user-name for the member’s section of the website.
- They will also receive an email notification regarding your gift (this notification will include your name and gift message provided in the application).
- They will receive FLA’s newsletter via the email address provided.
Gifted Membership Payment
The gifted membership fee can be paid via Credit Card or PayPal.
Note: If you use PayPal, make sure to change the email address to YOUR email so that Pay Pal can email your credit card receipt to you.
Your gift recipient will receive the following:
- An email notification with your personal message at the top and instructions for using the website
- A website password via email
- A membership card in the mail
Mailing Option
You may also make a gift of membership by mail. Simply print the application [link] and mail the completed copy of the printed application with your check to FLA.
- Check the box on the application that says “This is a Gift”.
- On the back of the application write your greeting, message and name.
- Be sure to include your first and last name, phone number, and email.
- The recipient will be notified of the membership by email.
