Overview

The Lighthouse Point tower is a small ornamental structure placed within a commercial parking area. Its striped finish gives the shopping center a visible nautical landmark.

History

The tower was constructed as a retail-center feature rather than a maritime light. It has remained a recognizable roadside element while the businesses around it have changed over the years.

Visiting & Access

The lighthouse can be seen from surrounding public roads and commercial parking areas. Visitors should observe posted parking and property rules; the tower is not open for entry.

Current Status

The structure remains a decorative feature of the Lighthouse Point commercial property. It is not an aid to navigation.
