This ornamental tower overlooks the inside of John’s Pass, reinforcing the fishing-village character of the popular Madeira Beach shopping and entertainment district.
The lighthouse was built as part of the modern village rather than as a navigational station. It has long served as a recognizable gathering point within the boardwalk’s nautical setting.
The lighthouse can be viewed while walking through John’s Pass Village & Boardwalk. It is a decorative exterior feature and is not available for tower climbs.
The structure remains a public-facing landmark within the active commercial village. It is not an official aid to navigation.
