| The Internal Revenue Service has approved the Florida Lighthouse Association for 501 ( c) 3 tax-exempt status. Donors may now deduct contributions to us as provided in section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code. All memberships expire September 30th of each year Initial memberships received prior to April 1st expire on September 30th of the same year. Initial memberships received after April 1st expire on September 30th of the following year. Renewals require full annual payment regardless of date received.
